Does my child need to be Jewish to attend HBHA? Yes, or in the process of becoming Jewish. HBHA welcomes students who fit into one of the following categories to apply: - A child who is being raised Jewish by two Jewish parents/legal guardians (parents/guardians Jewish by birth or conversion). - A child who is being raised Jewish by one Jewish parent/legal guardian in either a single parent/guardian or interfaith household (one parent/guardian Jewish by birth or conversion). - A child whose parent(s)/family are in the process of conversion. This family will have joined a local congregation and HBHA application(s) endorsed by a recognized rabbinic authority.
