St. James Lutheran School in Shawano, WI, serves 285 udents from pre–kindergarten through eighth grade in a town setting with a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod affiliation.

The school has a udent–teacher ratio of 20:1 across 14 teachers and an average class size of 21 students.

Approximately 14% of the udent body represents students of color, reflecting some diversity in the Shawano community.

Eablished as a religious elementary and secondary school, St. James Lutheran ranks among the top 20% of private schools in Wisconsin for having one of the large student bodies in the state.
