Overview
Treetops Montessori School is a privately owned school serving the needs of children 2.9 years through kindergarten.
Our goal is to provide a warm, non-competitive environment in which each child is accorded the respect and freedom necessary to realize and develop his or her unique personality and potential.
All classes are made up of children of mixed ages and abilities with those older helping the younger ones and those more able helping the less able.
A calm and supportive atmosphere helps to build confidence and encourages each child to become an independent, creative, self-disciplined, caring and academically capable member of society.
Treetops Montessori School provides a prepared environment in which each child, set free from adult intervention, can live his life according to the laws of his development.
Our goal is to develop the personality of the whole child and to encourage such concepts as creativity, self-discipline, initiative, independence, self-confidence, and a sense of personal and communal responsibility.
Mount Hope Montessori School offers a carefully prepared, safe, and nurturing environment in which children, ages 3 to 6, actively engage in a variety of work areas to encourage their fullest development.
Individual exploration, freedom, and creativity are balanced with the cultivation of social skills, responsibility, and moral and intellectual growth.
Mount Hope has two full-day programs and one half-day program as well as before and after school childcare.
Each classroom has up to 18 children guided by two teachers.
The before and after school programs are run as a complement to the school day and the childcare staff often introduce many enrichment activities.
