Coram Deo Academy has been the biggest blessing to our High School daughter who came to the Academy as a Junior. She is getting a top notch education, has the best friend group, was able to be a dancer and a basketball player and have teachers and coaches that push her and love her. The parents have embraced our family and made us feel so welcome. I love the Classical Christian education. We were at another private school before that was larger. The smaller class sizes and family oriented environment have been the absolute best for our daughter. I highly recommend this Academy if you want a well rounded independent student with a love for growing their faith and lifelong learning.

Our daughter came to Coram Deo as a 4th grader, she is now a 5th grader, and we have been so impressed with the amazing academic environment, small classroom sizes, and connection to both the teachers and other families. We have been supported and encouraged every step of the way. This was exactly what we needed!

We moved to the area last year and attended a different school at that time. Having previously been in similar schools in GA, we thought we had chosen the best school for us at the time. But as with all the previous schools we have attended (we have always homeschooled and she is now in the 3rd grade currently), it ended up falling short in several areas. I have always had to supplement to ensure my daughter was getting a solid academic foundation. So this is our first year at CDA and I could not be any happier. The rigorous academic standards are exactly what I've been searching for since we started this journey of homeschooling years ago. I do not supplement with anything extra because of the academic rigor the school provides. And the Christian foundation and learning - it's not just something they teach but every teacher and administrator at the school lives it - it's just who they are. And the added benefit of Coram Deo is the fact that it offers so many extra programs such as athletics, arts programs, etc. I can honesty say it is worth every penny to be part of something as wonderful as Coram Deo. This is the 4th school of its kind that we have tried and we do not plan to leave! If you are looking for a place that will meet your needs and exceed all expectations as your child grows, CDA is the place for you!

Curriculum at this school is superior to other private schools in the area. The push for independence is fostered by a love and support from the incredible teachers. This school truly stands out in academics, band, sports, and other activities offered. The collaboration of parents and teachers makes a huge difference. I know my kids will be prepared for the future!

Coram Deo is great for families and students who want a flexible schedule without sacrificing academics and extracurricular activities. The teachers and staff are really caring. As parents we appreciate that the classical approach is giving our kids a knowledge of literature, science, and math as they relate to history.

CDA is definitely a tough school. But if you like personal teachers, a rigorous curriculum and a close knit class then this is the school for you. There are numerous amounts of activities and awards you can use to lengthen your resume and transcript.

As a homeschooling family of two girls, we have used the classical approach for many years and loved it. Unfortunately, my youngest needed more structure, routine, accountability, and peer experience than we could provide ourselves. She entered Coram Deo in her 6th grade year, and now absolutely believes this is the place for her. I literally tear up thinking about how each sweet teacher impacted her education and heart over the year, and her confidence blossomed under their encouragement and expectation. I wish we would have made this decision three years earlier, but am so grateful for where we are now. Curriculum is important, but the teachers and administrators make this a truly awesome place to send my child.

This school is AMAZING!!! We did PreK this year with our first and our second child will be starting there next year too. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring and seek to meet the individual needs of each student, as needed. Our oldest has really struggled with all the changes that he has endured in life(moving to different towns, houses, schools, etc), & he struggled with being fearful to get to class on his own. The staff swooped in and made sure that he was walked to class & made to feel comfortable in his new school. Also, when he was sick, the PE teacher emailed me to ask how he was doing. It`s that type of care and consideration that helps me to know that when he`s away from me, that he`s taken care of.On top of that, the curriculum is great and easy to follow along with and teach. The teachers, in my experience, are great at communicating and helping you along the way. We plan on having our children attend here until they graduate.

This was our first year at Coram Deo Academy and I never thought I would be able to home-teach my first grader. However, the teachers, staff and other parents made the transition a smooth one for me. I loved the challenging curriculum, the loving Biblical environment, and the opportunity to see firsthand the incredible growth in my child. My son enjoyed his time at school with his loving teacher and friends and also the opportunity to come home and study.

Our second son just graduated from Coram Deo Academy this past week. He attended the Flower Mound campus for 12 years (our 15th year at CDA). We cannot say enough about the caring teachers, coaches, and leadership at this school. It is a challenging program that prepared our children well for college success, and more importantly, reinforced a Christian worldview and strong foundation to build their lives upon.

Our two children have been attending CDA for the last 4 years. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us. The faculty has been most helpful and supporting as we have the 7th grader in a 5 day on campus program and the 5th grader going 2 days on campus and 3 day at home campus. Assignments and keys are readily available so the home days are busy but not impossible. The kids like the electives of art, music and theater. The 5th grader loves the Latin classes. And the uniforms make it easy to decide what to wear today. ;) We think going to CDA was the best decision we have made for the children's future.

CDA is a rigorous school that teaches literature, math, science, athletics, the arts, etc. from a Biblical perspective. It is not for the faint of heart, but for those whose hearts genuinely yearn to grow deeper in God's truth and love. CDA's university model encourages students to manage their on and off days well. Parents (especially of younger students) stay connected with their students as they homeschool on the off days. Our sons are now in high school, and I appreciate how they continue to value our input even as they have become increasingly independent over the years. College guidance directs older students to pursue God's plan for their lives. I would highly recommend CDA to anyone seeking God's definition of success in their children's lives!

Coram Deo Academy provides an excellent academic education as well as wonderful social and extracurricular activities. The work definitely challenges the students, and parent involvement is a must. The teachers and staff truly care about each and every student, and they include teaching the gospel in every subject. Having college age children now that attended CDA, I can say CDA prepared them very well for that next educational step. We highly recommend it!

We love this school! It's been a blessing to watch our kids grow - mind, soul and body. The one downside would be a few classes in 7th grade that can be frustrating.

Coram Deo has been amazing. Coming from a public school kindergarten to CDA for first grade was a night and day difference. Watching first graders graph sentences, explore history, use deductive reasoning, work simple algebra, and read essays before their class; has been a beautiful reminder of how capable our children truly are when the right instruction, love and encouragement is being lavished on them. -- The electives are fun to choose each year, and the flexible scheduling is much appreciated. My daughter loves going to school and actually misses it during Spring and Summer breaks.

Coram Deo Academy is more than a school, it is an extension of family. Each family at CDA walks out their faith with a sincere dedication to raising their children to bring glory to God. The Christian environment is priority at CDA- the teachers, staff, and administrators all pour in to these students with love and devotion reflecting who they are in Jesus Christ. The collaborative model serves to keep parents involved in their students` education as the primary instructors in their child`s life. While to some this may seem taxing, there is an incredible amount of support offered by the CDA community to help families transition to this type of education. The classical instruction my children have received has opened their eyes and broadened their thinking to a Christian worldview. I have 2 students who have attended CDA for the past 8 years. One is a current student, and one has gone on to a successful college career in a large public university. She often tells others how fortunate she was to have been well prepared for university level courses because of the incredible instruction she received during her years at CDA.

We were skeptical that we could afford private school, but Coram Deo Academy was very affordable for our family. I have one graduate from CDA and have a high school student enrolled currently. The graduate was fully prepared for his college experience and is a working professional now. Both children enjoyed extracurriculars and Christian relationships that would not have been options in public school. Faculty and staff are at the top of their fields and are grace-filled people that are concerned with the whole student. We love CDA!

After sending three of my children through this school from elementary to graduation from High School, and seeing all of them enter college with scholarships, the first graduating with honors and a great job, one heading into being a Dr. and one beginning college in a Boston medical college, I heartily endorse this school.

CDA, Collin County campus, is an excellent school. The staff is highly qualified and is invested in the success of each student. It is a challenging curriculum that prepares the students for a successful college experience, as well as life outside of school. The extracurricular activities we have participated in- basketball, art, speech/debate, and choir- have been of great benefit and personally rewarding to each of my children.

CDA provides an extraordinary education for families willing to invest in the model (classical, collaborative, Christian).. Students develop strong critical thinking, speaking, and writing skills setting a solid foundation for whatever field the student chooses to pursue later. The teachers are fabulous and truly invest in each student. The arts programs (choir, drama, speech, visual, and band) are strong and welcoming to all students.
