Coyle & Cassidy High School
School Notes Overview:
Coyle and Cassidy High School is a Catholic Diocesan secondary school in which the Christian philosophy of life is modeled. Through an emphasis on spirituality, we seek to provide the students with the skills needed to make responsible decisions based on a Christian code of ethics. This goal is met by a partnership between parent and educator that fosters an environment where students learn to serve the community. We at Coyle and Cassidy recognize that parents, as the primary educators of their children, are a vital component of our school community. While parents must support their children economically, socially, and emotionally, they must be responsibly aware of their children’s activities and show genuine interest in them. This means encouraging their children to flourish while actively supporting the efforts made by the school to help them. The educators at Coyle and Cassidy will seek to provide a supportive learning environment that is safe and encourages sharing and team building. In this atmosphere, we hope to develop in the students a clear understanding of honesty, responsibility, and accountability. This will empower them with the means to deal with conflict and adversity in a non-violent proactive way. We also believe that our students need to become actively involved in the life of the school. For these reasons, athletic and extracurricular programs enhance our rich academic offerings. ...
