Academics are great, sports are great, teachers a competent and caring but these are not the reason I pay to keep my kids here. The community and culture are worth their weight in gold. Alcohol and drug use are an anomaly among the students. Other parent share our values. Kids are kind and polite. The school trusts the kids to represent well and supports all sorts of frequent day trips and overnight trips to boston, NYC, Washington, D.C., camping, cape cod....for history, sports, class bonding, music tours. The school is not a haven for the rich, don't need the "right" clothes, car or electronics to fit in. Kids are not angels, they make the same mistakes as the public school kids, but it is not expected or accepted. WCS builds strong students with good character.

We have been so happy with our choice to send our kids to this school. The academics are much more challenging than in public school and the curriculum is well rounded. My kids easily made strong friendships and found their teachers to be caring and supportive. We also really enjoy and appreciate the strong arts programs, such as the music programs, and drama productions.

Teachers and administrators who care about the whole child are hard to find, because they are ALL part WCS. Every teacher, administrator, professional, janitor, EVERYONE, including those who are not current, or even former teachers, have been loving and supportive of my children.
