The Joan Macy School is a specialized non-public school serving the girls in the Residential Treatment Program. Joan Macy operates with class sizes of twelve or less, taught by fully credentialed specialized instruction teachers. LA VERNE - Thirteen area teachers have been honored at a recent luncheon put on by the La Verne Chamber of Commerce. Each teacher received $100 cash from the Chamber of Commerce in appreciation for their efforts.
