Since it was founded in 1970 Montessori Harbor-mesa School has applied the Montessori method to succesfully educate thousands of preschool and elementary age children between the ages of 2 1/2 to 12. The rich and unique Montessori curriculum at our school is presented in a very caring, loving, supporting and balanced environment. We strive to develop each child's full potential so that they achieve self sufficiency physically, socially, intellectually, and morally. By encouraging personal initiative, resourcefulness, and responsibility, we seek to instill in each child a positive self-image and the desire to learn.

At the Preschool location we have a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1 and at the Elementary School we have 5 staff members.*-Posted by Administrator *
