School Notes:

    • FSCA serves students through a low teacher-student ration (1:10), direct and explicit instruction, multisensory learning experiences, assistance with organization, and a higher rate of individualized attention that is typically not offered in public or larger private schools.
    • FSCA's programs are not watered down versions of traditional schooling. There are no reduced expectations, but the programs emphasize individualized instruction. Supplemental material and unique scheduling arrangements have been carefully researched to match a wide variety of learning styles. The materials are presented in ways which really hit home, allowing them to grasp concepts and increase their knowledge.
    • FSCA has the distinction of being the only private school in Cumberland County that has a program specifically dedicated to students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, including autism. FSCA accommodates existing IEP's for students, or will develop an IEP, if needed.

School Reviews

  • Recommended June 07, 2014 - My three grandsons attend Flaming Sword. The oldest who has Aspergers(mild autism) graduated with a 4.0 average. This school addressed his needs, his particular learning style, and his need for social interaction. The middle child has dyslexia and was behind in public school. Now he has completely caught up, makes honor role, and has leararned to play chess with one of the instructors. I cannot say enough good things about this school. I feel blessed that we found it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants their child to have a top notch education. - Posted by Parent
