- The mission of FSA is to restore HOPE by providing students opportunities to learn or improve life-coping skills, define acceptable social behavior, and increase academic awareness by providing individualized academic instruction.
FSA's structured and nurturing environment will meet the needs of students through:
- Individualized academic instruction with specific lesson plans for each student to accommodate their specific learning style or challenge;
- Life Skills Science to teach transitional skills from school to college or work;
- Performing Arts Program, offering outlets for students' energies through drama, dance, or band;
- Weekly goal setting and achievements;
- Personal development through understanding various challenges each one faces, how to overcome these challenges and be a success; and
- Leadership,stewardship skills, and teamwork taught through sports and community service projects.
