The Chadwick School girls basketball team has had to adjust to the loss of junior point guard Bree Madrazo, who scored 182 points before tearing her ACL during a matchup earlier this season. When Los Angeles County's Board of Supervisors votes to hire Richard Bruckner as planning director on Tuesday, the region will get a highly respected professional at the top of its planning game; the city of Pasadena, where Bruckner is currently director of Planning and Development, will lose one; and an opportunity will open up in Pasadena City Hall.
