Washburn Academy is a non-profit K1 to 12th Grade school located in Clearwater, FL.
We are open year-round from 8:30am - 5:30pm.
We specialize in educating children in the fundamentals, so that they may align their own goals and purposes with their education and begin to explore more specific areas of individual interest. Our students are very competent in their abilities and are very engaged in their learning. Washburn accepts temporary students in addition to offering a year round program.
Free college dual enrollment programs are offered to High School students, many of whom have tested out with honors.
Washburn graduates successfully receive scholarship programs in addition to college acceptance and placement in many major universities in and out of the state of Florida.

  • The classroom study hours are  from 8:45am to 3:15pm. The after school program is from 3:15pm - 5:20pm. Washburn students, from K1 - 12th grade, have been recognized in many ceremonies as leaders in the community and for setting examples of exemplary citizenship and community service! Washburn likes to offer any potential new student the opportunity to come visit us for a free day or two.
