School Notes:

  • Holy Trinity High School is a Catholic high school founded by the Brothers of Holy Cross in 1910 to educate the children of Polish immigrants who settled in the near-north side of Chicago. Today, the school continues to educate youth from across the city of Chicago, recognizing the unique spirit of all students and challenging them to realize their full potential. Students are accepted based on their ambition to succeed and desire to learn, while their academic background and placement exam scores are used as guidelines for the path of their coursework. The highly experienced faculty members deliver individualized attention, a challenging academic curriculum, and strong moral guidance and support to all. The faculty and staff create a learning environment that transforms the hearts and minds of students, allowing them to realize their goals and ambitions. Since 2006, 100% of the school's graduates have been accepted into college, and the graduating class of 2008 received a total of $1.5 million in collegiate scholarships and grants. Our Holy Cross education is made affordable through a substantial financial assistance program and scholarships provided by our generous benefactors. Over 90% of our students qualify to receive this kind of support.
