Our emphasis is on an individualized approach, relating to each child on his or her own level.
A challenging yet personalized curriculum, the classes are small and the activities individualized for each student.
The program provides for an interactive process of learning and is concerned with the development of the whole child.

  • - The regular curriculum always includes classes in science, art, music, physical education, computer, foreign language and barnyard. Specialists teach all these programs.
  • - The academic school year is 42 weeks long not just 38 weeks, which allows us the time to do many special events and activities.
  • - We welcome parent involvement in the classrooms and for all our special activities. WHPS also has a very active Parent Association, which supports our school events and provides many additional enrichment activities for the children.

  • - There is a strong Character Values Education program integrated into the curriculum enabling our students to develop into respectful, responsible citizens while also enhancing the development of strong leadership and self-esteem qualities. In addition, WHPS sponsors a Student Council that further enhances its leadership and character-building program.

  • - Always been sensitive to the needs of working parents. A before and after school extended day program is available and WHPS only closes for national holidays. The afternoon extended care program includes a Homework Club and a full program of activities.
