Holy Rosary Academy is a Classical school in the Roman Catholic tradition, faithful to the See of Peter, founded and governed by Catholic laity.
Founded in the Marian Year 1987, and named in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, it comprises both grammar and secondary education.

Lumen Christi Catholic High School provides a rigorous Catholic education in a Christ-like environment to students in grades 7-12. We take pride in living our core values of Faith, Family, and Excellence on a daily basis. Our students learn to think critically, ethically and compassionately.
Our teachers help students achieve success by setting high standards and providing individual assistance. Over 80% of our students are involved in one or more extracurricular and co-curricular activities, including sports, campus ministry, yeabook, debate, choir, student government and National Honor Society.
Our gymnasium boasts an NCAA regulation sized basketball court and has seating for 500.
90% of graduates go on to college; the remaining enter the workforce, enroll in trade school or serve our country through military service.
Graduates from 2024 and 2025 (31 students total) were awarded over $6.5M in college scholarships.
Students in grades eleven and twelve may enroll in college courses, receiving dual high school and college credit through the University of Alaska Fairbanks e-campus Advantage program.
Lumen Christi curriculum meets or surpasses all State of Alaska curriculum standards and all Lumen Christi graduates meet or surpass State of Alaska High School Graduation Requirements (State of Alaska, Dept. of Education Regulation 4 AAC 06.075 .) Lumen Christi is accredited through Cognia, and is a member of the Alaska School Activity Association (ASAA) and the the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA).
