Holy Rosary Academy Photo #2 - The end of all our efforts at Holy Rosary Academy is to produce holy men and women. Through careful attendance to their day-to-day activities we foster in them virtue formed from well-developed habits in manners, speech, and dress.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #3 - By engaging our students through conversation and urging them to reflect on nature and humanity around them, our student scholars become fully informed citizens capable of continuing to grow in the love of truth, goodness, and beauty.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #4 - Elementary student embark on the first stage of the Trivium by learning the grammar of every subject such as the times tables in math, the scale in music and phonics in reading. Reading, writing, and arithmetic lay the foundation and form the building blocks for the middle school transition.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #5 - At the logic stage, students are encouraged to question, debate, and discover connections as they begin to read the Great Thinkers of Western Civilization. Students complete the Core Knowledge sequence begun in the Elementary School. Active exchange fosters in the students the importance of rigor and clarity in the their writing and speaking.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #6 - Faith, hope and charity are the work of God's grace, chiefly through the sacraments of His Church. Hence, students are encouraged to pray before every class, to participate actively in the sacramental life, to pray the Rosary and other Catholic devotional exercises, and to participate in Catholic and private charities in the community.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #7 - Holy Rosary Academy students become involved in all facets of the school and the community by participating in activities outside the classroom that develop their physical and social gifts as well as their love of beauty.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #8 - Juniors and seniors demonstrate rhetorical skills by carefully considering, artfully writing and successfully defending a self-selected philosophical thesis topic. Consequently, seniors are prepared to enter college or pursue a career with poise.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #9 - The upper school maintains the emphasis on logic by introducing the students to a rigorous college-preparatory program dedicated to challenging the students to creatively solve problems, make distinctions, and write insightfully. The Quadrivium is added to their classical curriculum through deeper study of natural science, mathematics, music and Euclidean geometry.
Holy Rosary Academy Photo #10 - Through careful attendance to their day-to-day activities we foster in them virtue formed from well-developed habits in manners, speech, and dress.
