Overview
Mercy Academy helps each student nourish her faith and strengthen her Christian values.
Our goal is for each student to become a woman of mercy, beautifully expressed in the mercy creed as a woman rooted in the values of Jesus; a woman well educated and self-disciplined; a woman enriched by diversity and tolerant of differences; a woman compassionate and generous; and a woman able to lead and willing to serve; who graciously shares these Mercy values with others.
Assumption High School was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Mercy.
We educate the whole person in a caring, Christian environment.
We offer programs to young women with a wide range of abilities, talents, and needs.
We make sure that our young women learn and grow and feel good about themselves.
We provide financial assistance to families demonstrating economic need by reaching out to the poor and minorities in the community.
