The River School is a co-ed, small, private, independent elementary school, and incorporated under New York State educational law, located in historic Nyack, New York.
We offer an integrated, multi-cultural educational experience that meets the standards required by New York State while recognizing the multiple learning styles and intelligences of our students.

Green Meadow Waldorf School serves children and their familes from birth to grade 12 through our Parent & Child Program, Nursery, Kindergarten, Lower School, and High School.
Founded in 1950 and situated on 11 beautiful acres, we are one of the oldest, largest Waldorf schools in the US, with about 200 students.
Benefiting from discovery and play in our Early Childhood program, interdisciplinary experiences where the arts, movevent, and music are integrated into the academic subject in the Lower School, and rigorous intellectual challenges in the High School, Green Meadow students go on to top colleges and fulfilling careers. Forest Preschool launched in September 2018
