Overview
St. Luke Catholic School in Southington greets children of all faiths with a high five from the Principal every morning. We welcome students from Pre-K3 through Grade 8 as well as their families into our safe and nurturing community. St. Luke features modest class size to insure the individual attention that each child needs for the future they deserve. We have been awarded the prestigious STREAM Curriculum by the Archdiocese of Hartford, one of only four schools that function with this program which combines Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics in our teaching. And this applies to even our youngest learners.
Our campus includes a full sized gymnasium, state-of-the-art Science Lab, a separate cafeteria, dedicated Music and Art rooms, a Library with a Media Specialist and outdoor play area. Spanish is taught starting in Kindergarten. Come and see the difference a small school with a family atmosphere can make for your child.
Established in 1978, Saint Dominic School was the first new Catholic school to be established in our archdiocese in over 25 years.
It was carefully guided then by Gladys Wood, our founding principal.
Our school feature limited class size, certified teaching staff, full day kindergarten, grade K-5, award winning Nursery program, Pre-kindergarten—5 days a week, Library / State of the Art Technology Center, bus transportation, daily hot lunch program, and before/after care program.
