St. Luke Catholic School in Southington greets children of all faiths with a high five from the Principal every morning. We welcome students from Pre-K3 through Grade 8 as well as their families into our safe and nurturing community. St. Luke features modest class size to insure the individual attention that each child needs for the future they deserve. We have been awarded the prestigious STREAM Curriculum by the Archdiocese of Hartford, one of only four schools that function with this program which combines Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics in our teaching. And this applies to even our youngest learners.
Our campus includes a full sized gymnasium, state-of-the-art Science Lab, a separate cafeteria, dedicated Music and Art rooms, a Library with a Media Specialist and outdoor play area. St.Luke is able to provide a number of unique opportunities for the development of the total child due to the quality of its facilities.In 2023, St. Luke became a STREAM School, being given the prestigious curriculum afforded to only four schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford. A STREAM school is one whose educational philosophyinvolves combining the following subject areas (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, math) into real world andrelevant experiencesfor all students.Our teaching staff works together to create a school culture thatis positive and encouraging whichresults in students feeling comfortable to be creative and expressing their ideas. St. Luke students learn to brainstorm ideas to solve real problems, listen and collaboratewith their peers and build models to solve problems.
