Perry, a member of Moreno Valley Calvary Chapel Christian School's cross country team, was among about 100 people taking part in the school's third annual 5K Valley Pride event for walkers and runners in Moreno Valley.

    Enrollment is falling at many Inland private schools as families choose free public school over tuition during tough economic times. "We are not any different from any other organization" struggling in the recession, said Angelo Iacoboni, director of admission at Linfield Christian School in Temecula. "We're definitely seeing an impact."
