Emerald Heights Academy

3850 - 156th Avenue SE, Bellevue, WA, 98006
Emerald Heights Academy provides an educational community that serves the individual, the family and society. Since our founding, we have set high academic standards, nurtured spiritual growth and developed character through raising social responsibility toward others. A group of lay Catholic business leaders and educators founded Emerald Heights Academy as an independent, private elementary school on Seattle's Eastside. Our goal is to help each student to reach his or her full potential. Emerald Heights Academy believes that education involves the development of key intellectual abilities including analyzing, synthesizing, relating and evaluating. Our advanced curriculum is strong in content. We address each student's needs with personal attention and work with parents to provide individualized instruction. Teachers help to form effective study habits which encourage critical thinking and reflection. Students gain confidence and poise through the practice of public speaking. The mission of Emerald Heights Academy is to transform society by developing Christ-centered leaders and learners. We do this by helping our children to grow intellectually, apostolically, spiritually and to develop good character. The result of this integral formation is a leader well prepared to take his or her place in any sector of society and to infuse it with Christian virtues.  We now offer before/after school care.
