Be proactive. Ask a few questions, and then ask some more. We offer a variety of ways for you to experience campus life throughout the year. Following a tour join us for a presentation entitled Colleges Unranked presented by guest speaker Lloyd Thacker from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Lloyd Thacker is the author of Colleges Unranked and founder of the Education Conservancy. In his book, Thacker has the presidents and deans of leading colleges and universities engage in a dialogue about magazine rankings as a strategy for developing a college list. Following we will have a free workshop entitled: Aspects of Brain Development and Education from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with guest speaker Tim Burns. Tim Burns is an educator with decades of experience that travels around the world speaking on the topic of Brain Development. In this day long workshop, we will explore movements, simple rhythms, and elements of play that can help to reorganize the brain of children and teens that, more and more, tend to move and play less and less.
