Canisius is a Catholic, Jesuit, independent college preparatory school, grades 9 through 12, serving young men of diverse backgrounds from all over Western New York. Our mission is to challenge students to strive for excellence as critical thinkers and effective communicators who are open to growth, intellectually competent, religiously oriented, loving, and committed to justice. At Canisius, students come first, academic excellence matters, and teachers are dedicated to helping each and every student find success. The distinguished and rigorous academic program, based upon a liberal arts curriculum, is designed to prepare students for college.
