Tattnall Square Academy was chartered as a non-profit corporation by the State of Georgia on February 5, 1969.
The school was founded by the Tattnall Square Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia, and is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Tattnall Square Baptist Church members and school parents.
It is a co-educational day school for students in preschool through grade twelve.
As our school crest symbolizes, Tattnall Square Academy is dedicated to nurturing the mind, spirit, and body.
As Middle Georgia's oldest non-sectarian independent school, Stratford Academy has a proud tradition of welcoming students of all faiths and backgrounds. Our inclusive community fosters respect, understanding, and a sense of belonging, while our rigorous academic program and broad opportunities in the arts, athletics, and leadership empower every student to reach their fullest potential.
