We believe that Saint Helena School in Bellefonte is a visible, spiritual, worshipping community which serves the religious and educational needs of the children of Saint Helena parish and the surrounding communities, without discrimination according to race, color, or religious belief.
Saint Helena School strives to create an atmosphere of love and concern for all, so that each student may be an extension of Christ's compassion in the world.
The fundamental goal of our educational ministry is the creation of a Christian educational community where human culture and knowledge, enlightened by faith, are shared in a spirit of freedom and love.
As a Catholic school, instruction in religious truth and values is an integral part of, and the underlying basis of our school program.
We endeavor to educate the whole person. We exist to educate the child toward moral perfection, academic excellence, responsible citizenship, cultural awareness, and physical development.
