In February of 1912, at the St. Joseph Hall, there was a meeting held to see the prospect of having a parochial school in Mandan.
The decision was made to remodel the old A-frame church to accommodate 125 school children.
In 1913, the school doors open, with over 200 students arriving for the 1st day of school.
Since then, St. Joseph School has been a staple of high-quality Catholic Education.
For over 110 years, we have been educating children in Mandan and the surrounding community.
In 2020, the school made the change from traditional education to Montessori education.
We now proudly offer quality Catholic education from age 3 to seniors in high school.
