The New School, a unique, progressive K-8, in DeWitt, invites kids K-8 to join the strategizing, social negotiations, choices, and FUN of playing board games together, at the start of the week of International TableTop Day. Teachers, staff, and parent volunteers will supervise; one adult will help with game rules and play for each game table. The New School loves using board games for shared learning experiences among students. `Battleship` can be used as a prelude to understanding coordinate planes!Prizes, snacks, and a T-shirt are part of the exciting and playful afternoon.
