  • Ames Christian School (ACS) is a non-denominational Christian school ministering  to children and their families in the Ames area. We offer an ourstanding Early Childhood Program that includes a Preschool and Childcare Program for three and four year old children.  The Early Childhood Program have a QRS rating of 4. Our elementary program includes a full academic program including Art, Music, Physical Education, and Computer instruction.  Gifted teachers mentor and provide personalized christian education through smaller class sizes.  We provide a safe, disciplined, caring learning environment that promotes academic excellence and builds Christian character.  The needs of the whole child are addressed.  We participate in mission and outreach projects at every grade level.  Our Iowa Assessments class score averages have consistently been above the Iowa and National class scores averages.
