Join us for The Chicago Academy for the Arts Fall Open House - an event to help prospective families experience Academics at the nation's premier independent high school for the arts. Meet faculty and students, explore our building, and learn how we combine rigorous college-preparatory academics with pre-professional arts training in a uniquely supportive, inspiring environment. At The Academy, students don't have to choose between a serious academic education and world-class arts training. They get both - because we're preparing them for both sides of who they are: the intelligent, curious you person who can hold their own in any classroom. And the artist developing every facet of the craft they came here to chase and discover even more ways to hone their creativity. With small classes, individualized support, and teachers who actually understand young creatives - we ready our students to go on to the most competitive colleges, conservatories, and professional programs across the country and around the world.Come see and learn more about: Our six arts departments - Dance, Media Arts, Music, Musical Theatre, Theatre, and Visual Arts - and the spaces where students train. Honors and AP-level academics across the humanities, math, science, and world languages. What a co-curricular day actually looks like, where studio time and the classroom carry equal weight and young creative across all departments get to exchange ideas in all areas. What it feels like to be somewhere every student is known, challenged, and encouraged - and seen for exactly who they are and the potential in who they're becoming. Whether your student is a performer, filmmaker, visual artist, musician, dancer, or storyteller - or simply a young creative looking for a place to grow - this is the night to see it for yourself. And if they don't have formal training yet, that's okay. We're looking for potential, not perfection.Reserve your spot for our Fall Open House today!
