Overview
FPD defines our Profile of a Graduate as a lifelong learner, challenged by the gospel, equipped for wellness, self-aware and growing, engaged and persuasive, and sensitive to others.
Achieving this goal requires a curriculum that exposes students to a thoughtful sequence of study, building a foundation of knowledge in each discipline and encouraging thoughtful analysis and application.
Our high school offers an academically challenging curriculum underpinned by sound biblical principles.
When FPD students graduate, they are prepared to attend some our nation`s finest colleges and universities with a firm foundation in their faith and academic abilities.
No other school in Middle Georgia can boast the success that Stratford Academy has seen in college preparation and placement. Annually, 100% of graduates matriculate at colleges and universities in-state and out-of-state.
Students from age three to grade 12 are nurtured in a learning community which prides itself on teaching "how to think" not "what to think."
Since its founding in 1960, Stratford Academy's core purpose has been to provide superior preparation for our students to excel at college and in life.
We are Middle Georgia's oldest non-sectarian independent school welcoming of all faiths and backgrounds.
Our school motto is "Freedom for Excellence" and each student is challenged to pursue excellence in his/her chosen courses of study, activities or endeavors.
For 2020-2021, Stratford has implemented a "Return to Campus" plan which puts student and faculty health and safety as the top priority. Please visit stratford.org/COVID-19 to learn more.
