- Our classrooms are active and busy. The children learn by doing and are encouraged to work cooperatively on projects and share their ideas and discoveries. Our program is centered on the various needs, interests and learning styles of the children. Our reading and math program are leveled based on each individual students needs. We offer all students Physical Education every day. Recently, we partnered with a non-profit, Aurora Lights, which provides weekly outdoor education to all students (Mountain SOL).
- We also offer a summer day-camp which is available on a part time and full time basis to the community. PreK Pals, ages 3&4; Daycamp, ages 5-11. Call for information.

My kids loved MLA. They are now older and thriving in high school. I appreciated that MLA allows the students to learn at their individual pace, placing them in math and reading groups that are appropriate for them. They loved daily PE and the weekly art, music and spanish. It's really just one big family where every teacher knows the name of every student, no matter what age. It's obvious that the teachers love what they do. Many have been there since MLA opened. So glad we made this choice for our kids.
