Routt Catholic High School is a co-educational, independent Catholic high school in the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois whose bishop is the Most Reverend Thomas John Paprocki.
Routt is located at 500 E. College Avenue adjacent to Our Saviour`s School and Church located in Jacksonville, Illinois.
The school was founded in 1902. The current facility includes a chapel, library, multi-purpose room, guidance offices, development offices, gymnasium and a weight room.
The school also has a computer equipped business education lab, a science lab, an art classroom and a band/chorus room.
Routt shall admit students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
Routt Catholic High School provides an excellent secondary education based on the Catholic tradition in a faith-centered environment through the teaching Christian values, the promotion of spiritual growth, and the total development of each student.
The school is accredited by Advanced Ed, NC Association Commission of Accreditation & School Improvement and recognized by the Diocese of Springfield. Routt maintains all state and diocesan educational requirements.
