At Duchesne High School, we are guided by one mission: to
educate students in mind, body and spirit. We are a Catholic,
coeducational, college preparatory school with a tradition of
excellence reaching back to 1924. Challenging academics,
competitive athletics and vibrant student activities create a
thriving community where faith is our cornerstone. Combined with
our superior academic opportunities and college preparatory
environment, our affordable tuition positions Duchesne as an
outstanding value in private Catholic education.
While students follow a rigorous college preparatory
curriculum, Duchesne High School's programs are designed for a wide
range of academic abilities - from honors courses that challenge
the intellectually gifted to basic courses that strengthen
fundamental skills. A variety of elective courses allow students to
tailor courses of study according to personal interests and career
goals. Additionally, students can choose from 21 advanced college
credit courses, covering all core academic subjects. Our college
acceptance rate is 100 percent, and many graduates earn significant
scholarship offers for superior performance in the classroom and
community. To ready our students for future careers, technology is
incorporated into all aspects of the curriculum.
Duchesne's cocurricular activities ensure that all students are
able to develop their individual gifts. From championship athletics
to performing arts and service organizations, our programs
encourage students to find unique niches that complement their
education. Our campus ministry integrates faith into all aspects of
our curriculum and student life. Retreats, sacraments, Christian
service and prayer groups create an atmosphere where students
pursue the chance to make a difference in our world and cultivate
personal relationships with God.

Our kid is now a Junior at Duchesne and we are thrilled with the decision to send him there. We are very happy with the education and quality of people at Duchesne. He has been pushed academically. What I love most about Duchesne is their House system. This program does a great job of developing leadership abilities within many of its students. In just this one program, there are 64 leadership opportunities. For a small school, this is huge for kids to be involved and develop leadership traits that are so important later in life. In addition, the House System does a great job in developing school spirit and encouraging the kids to get exposure in a wide variety of school activities. In short, I believe that Duchesne is a school of opportunity!

I love the family feel of the Duchesne community. There are so many organizations that my child can get involved in. The house system is also great. My daughter met so many people right away from freshman to senior and felt comfortable on the very first day!

Duchesne is a very welcoming school community! The smaller size of Duchesne allows each student to feel involved and included. There are many activities, clubs, and sports to allow each child to find their niche. The teachers and staff really know and care about the students!

I have two kids who attend DHS. We couldn't be happier with our selection of DHS to educate our boys. DHS is a perfect fit for our family. Great community feel, great academics, and great coaches. I couldn't recommend DHS enough!

We love the community feels at Duchesne! Its high focus on academic excellence leaves students well-prepared for college. All teachers are interested in all of the students and know them well. They have an outstanding house program that engages students across class years and friend groups that gives the school great friendship and involvement.
