Harmony School's mission is to create a warm and natural environment that encourages children to explore and develop their individual capabilities and to learn problem-solving and respect for others in a spirit of kindness that nurtures a sense of belonging in our community.
Our School Motto, "Inspiring Curiosity, Conservation and Creativity" informs all our decisions, as we strive to support the development of our students, both as individuals and as members of society.
Our classroom infrastructure is designed around classrooms with 10:1 student to instructor ratios, with a typical classroom of 20 multi-aged students, 1 teacher, and 1 assistant-teacher. This arrangement allows for substantial 1-on-1 student-teacher interaction.

Harmony's core curriculum was founded on a combination of
Montessori, Waldorf, and Inquiry-based learning. While mindful of
roots and mission, we continuously consider adjustments and
expansions of our program in the effort to offer a rich, exciting,
and multifaceted experience for our students.
At Harmony School, we feel each child's unique qualities should
be nurtured. We view each child as an individual with needs and
abilities that differ from other children. Every child has his or
her own learning style, special talents and unique gifts. We
individualize instruction to address each child's special
qualities.
Overall an outstanding school - curriculum is unique blend of philosophies, kindergarten is well-above public school programs and the elementary school is one-of-a-kind with weekly field trips, hands-on learning experiences and fantastic experiential learning opportunities. Very small class provides one-on-one time with superb instructors.
