This is the best Montessori in the area! Our daughter attended from 3 years to 6 years, and our only regret is that the program doesn't continue through elementary beyond K. If it did, we would be the first to sign up. We believe in the true Montessori method and this school. She learned so much while there, and from that foundation she received at Montessori of Plainfield, she is now a child who is far beyond peers in term of academics. She also has such fond memories of her time there. She enjoyed going each and every day, never knowing what new ''work'' she would tackle or what new skill she could share with younger peers. Her level of excitement and enthusiasm to learn was always matched by her teacher's desire to provide her with new, challenging work. The practical life skills and sense of independence they learn there is also unmatched. If you are looking at traditional preschools or ''play schools'', I would advise you to check out this school and talk to the parents. Thank you Montessori of Plainfield for the best experience! We truly miss being there. It was a home away from home for three years.

If you are looking for a school environment where your child is nurtured and encouraged to be who he or she wants to be while discovering the joy of learning, then Montessori of Plainfield is that place! The children have a very strong sense of confidence, leadership, and are accepting of each other. Our children have benefited from this great learning and community-building experience. They are doing well academically which is very important to us as parents, but when you also consider the value to a child of a great foundation built on kindness, acceptance, and self-confidence - to a parent, that is priceless for the child's future! The teachers and staff are all very caring, nurturing, and great with the children! I think this is a place that every child should have a chance to experience, and I encourage any parent searching for a school to visit Montessori of Plainfield

If you live outside the United States, choosing an American private school can be a confusing process. Here is an overview of the process.
Many people thought vouchers would never amount to much. Not only have they amounted to a great deal more than anybody could have thought, but vouchers have encouraged several more education choices to flourish.
Now that school has safely reopened, what can we parents do to support and encourage the schools we care about so much?
