St. Francis Of Assisi Catholic School (Closed 2017)

St. Francis School was founded as a mission of St. Francis Parish.
The school is a Beacon of Hope in Pike County, educating children of all denominations, grades K - 6.
As a educational family of faith, we are committed to Gospel values and a strong curriculum.
Parents choose and commit their resources to provide for a positive learning experience.
Teachers utilize a variety of techniques to meet the individual needs of each child.
St. Francis strives to impart to all students an inner self-discipline and a sense of social responsibility which extends beyond self and to family, church and community.
We believe that education at St. Francis is guided by our belief in a loving God who calls each child to become the best he/she can be.
It develops the whole child spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
It also promotes a system of Christian values and instills a sense of self-worth.
We believe the primary responsibility for education rests with the parents.
The teachers are there to guide and assist. We believe that as well-rounded individuals, students will be self-disciplined, capable decision makers, critical thinkers, and valued members of their communities.
