St. John Lutheran School

St. John School exists to "Connect people in the heart of Jesus." Students are equipped academically, socially, physically, mentally, but most importantly spiritually for the world around them.
Students grow in God's Word while discovering how it shapes everyday life. They learn how Christianity stands apart, how to live out their faith with confidence, and how to share and defend it with others.
Students are surrounded by a culture of faith that strengthens their relationship with Jesus. Alongside caring teachers, older students serve as role models, guiding and encouraging the younger ones.
The school day begins with an all-school prayer. Classes engage in daily prayer, religion lessons, scripture memory recitations, and devotions. Chapel services are held once a week.
St. John's congregation subsidizes nearly 50% of the cost to educate regardless of the students' church affiliation. Need-based scholarships are also available.
Students have the opportunity to engage in the athletic arena in the areas of football, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, basketball, and track & field. The St. John lady Hawks have taken home 1st or 2nd in the Lutheran Class A State Tournament 3 times since 2021. In 2022, St. John's girls basketball won the class A Lutheran State Tournament and won a bid to the National Tournament in Indiana. They earned an invite to Indiana again in 2025.
On-site childcare is available from 6:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. via the St. John Early Learning Center.

I love seeing my son come home talking about Bible stories and getting lost in chapter books. We are blessed that we can send him to a school where his faith can be reinforced and he can have dedicated teachers to push him!
