Enlightium`s mission is to support every unique student on their journey to embrace their God-given talents, develop a lifelong thirst for knowledge, display a Christ-like spirit, and care for their community with kindness, respect, and love.
Enlightium`s vision is to nurture students to honor God, care for others, and believe in themselves and their future.
PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
At Enlightium, we teach from a biblical worldview and provide an academic program that satisfies private school approval and accreditation requirements. Our students receive a strong background in reading, language, mathematics, science, and history. We provide Christian teachers who serve as role models for students on developing a Christian mindset within our Expected Student Outcomes (spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally).
Enlightium`s students in grades PreK-2 use a book-based Christian curriculum while students in grades 3-12 use an online, Christian curriculum (i.e., Ignitia). Both curricula options include English, math, science, history, electives, and Bible courses. For students in grades 3-12, Enlightium offers the World Languages Spanish, French, German, Russian, Latin, and Chinese. In addition, the online curriculum utilizes a diverse, vibrant mix of lessons, assignments, and assessments. The interactive learning games, academic links, and off-computer projects also create opportunities for in-depth study.
Enlightium students can work at any time of the day and any days of the week, as long as they keep up with assigned work on a weekly basis and finish on time. Whether your student needs to be academically challenged, desires a more flexible schedule, or desires to work from the comfort of the home, Enlighitum is a great choice!
