Montessori is a very individualized approach to learning.  Most lessons are given one-on-one, and this enables each child to progress at his/her own pace and level of ability.

Materials in the classroom are for manipulating as we believe a child learns by doing.
There is a direct hand to brain connection in the young child that is nurtured in a Montessori environment.
