School Notes
- Hillsdale Christian School is a non-denominational, independent, and tax-exempt school. The school is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International and the Oklahoma State Department of Education, with classes starting in Pre-School through eighth grade. The school is incorporated by the State of Oklahoma as a non-profit corporation under the control of a seven-member school board and a five-member board of trustees. Hillsdale Christian School was established by its founders in 1982 as a school which would educate young people in all areas of life-spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical. The school was founded on the premise that a child can attain what God has planned for his or her life if there is harmony in what is taught in the home, church, and school. The goal of HCS is to be an extension of the home where parents truly desire to raise their children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord. "As an educational institution, Hillsdale Christian School is dedicated to the difficult task of integrating faith and all learning. We believe a child must learn the consistency of the God of the Bible with the God of this century in order to develop a faith strong enough to withstand the humanistic world in which he lives. We also believe that if our American heritage is to be saved, we must immediately return to the teaching principles upon which this great nation was founded. We aim to help restore the heritage of American education to its solid Christian foundation and high academic standards.
