School Notes

Since 1998, Lil' People's Place has been the heart of early childhood education in Clarkston, MI - a warm, locally owned preschool where Oakland County families have trusted us for generations.
Serving Independence Township, Lake Orion, Waterford, and beyond, we're more than a preschool.
We're a community.
We believe the early years should be alive with curiosity, creativity, and connection.
Through hands-on learning, big imaginations, and individualized care, from infancy and toddler care to preschool and pre-K GSRP, our programs help every child grow at their own pace - socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
We are a place where your lil' ones build lifelong friendships, and where they learn, grow, and belong.

For more than 28 years, Lil' People's Place has been Clarkston's premier independent preschool and early childhood learning center, proudly serving families across Clarkston, Independence Township, Waterford, Davisburg, Lake Orion, Ortonville, and the greater North Oakland County community. As a locally owned, relationship-driven school, we're built on deep trust, consistent care, and a commitment to exceptional early childhood education. Our purpose is beautifully simple: to provide a secure, high-quality academic environment where young learners are inspired to Learn, encouraged to Grow, and supported to truly Belong. Above all, we prepare children for kindergarten readiness while giving Oakland County families complete peace of mind, guided by dedicated early childhood professionals who lead with consistency, compassion, and respect.
