5 Our son has recently returned from LRA after over 18 months. We're made the low today difficult decision to send him after he had refused to attend school, nor barely left the house in over 9 months. It easy such a scary time for all of us, but especially for him! Logan River gave us back our son! I just can't say enough about the staff and the programs there. He had wonderful therapists who worked with all of us. He hated it, and was really angry when he first arrived, but once he realized that it was actually helping him, he thrived! We have all grown as a family, and I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone who was contemplating this for their child, to seriously consider Logan River Academy! - Posted by Parent - HR |
5 Logan River has been a wonderful place to work for the past 15 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed the environment and individuals who sacrifice so much to bless our students' lives. A wonderful place for families who are struggling and need residential support for their child. - Posted by Administrator - Krys |
5 When your child reaches a point that all the help you offer including therapy and the most comprehensive local programs is not enough to keep them safe and help them get healthy, you are faced with a very difficult decision- to consider having to place them in a residential facility. When we finally knew that it was time to get our son this level of treatment, we did a lot of research to find the right place. No amount of research could take away that it was a scary decision. But we finally chose Logan River Academy (LRA), and we feel very fortunate for having found them. I can also tell you this: I do not live at LRA, but my son does. He says he was not happy about being there at first, but now he knows that it has helped. He says that it started to help once he started working with the program. It has not been an easy time or a straight path to healing, but he has made progress and continues to. And for this, we are grateful. - Posted by Parent - BP |
5 I am so grateful to Logan River/Maple Rise for all of the excellent work they have and continue to do with my daughter. The staff, therapists, teachers and administration are kind, skilled, and professional. I will be forever grateful. - Posted by Parent - Joseph |
5 I have loved working here for 14 years. I love the students and families we work with and stay in touch with many of them. I believe we are making a difference for these families and working hard to ensure that they have the best level of care available. - Posted by Administrator - Sean Maynard |
