Sacred Heart School is a Catholic parish school in Glendale Queens, New York.
We are an Early Childhood through Grade 8 school. Our mission is to motivate, educate, and empower academically, spiritually and socially the students of Sacred Heart School for the challenges of tomorrow with the support of the Sacred Heart community.
We work to provide a caring atmosphere where our students can develop self-esteem and resiliency.
Recognizing that each person is unique and possesses special abilities and interests that must be recognized and developed, we encourage the children to explore and use their gifts and talents to not only help them to reach their goals, but to better the world.
While we maintain a strong academic program, we recognize our responsibility to enhance each child's relationship with God and to instill a sense of social conscience into our students.
We acknowledge that each child is unique and has the right to succeed.
We labor to provide an environment that provides for the spiritual, emotional, academic and physical development of the child.
We challenge each youngster to realize his or her fullest spiritual and academic potential.
