We have two children enrolled at SJA, and we are so proud to be part of the SJA school and community. Our daughters are learning so much in terms of academics but also in terms of how to be caring people. The teachers and administration are supportive and truly want what is best for the students. Not only is the academic aspect important to us but also the community aspect. The families at SJA are welcoming and supportive as well. Our family feels like we are part of a larger SJA family. We have found a wonderful, supportive home at SJA.

I'm relieved our choice to send our children to St Joan of Arc was a great one. There are so many terrific schools in our area, but SJA is the best fit for us. So many things that set it apart, but we've been grateful for the exceptional leadership, loving and encouraging teachers caring for "the whole child", all the while providing a rigorous educational program and instilling Christian values. The student body genuinely knows and cares for one another and there are many opportunities for older students to be leaders and younger students to have role models they relate to. I've found the community of parents hard working, generous and have values that align with our family's, which is a fancy way to say we've all found lifelong friends here.

Our family has been part of the Saint Joan of Arc community for several years now, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the school's doors, we felt the warmth and welcoming atmosphere that has come to define this remarkable institution.First and foremost, the academic excellence at SJA is truly outstanding. The dedicated and passionate educators go above and beyond to provide a top-notch education. My two kids have not only thrived academically but have also developed a genuine love for learning. The school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded, critical thinkers is evident in every aspect of their curriculum. What sets SJA apart is not just its academic rigor but also its vibrant community. The sense of unity and respect among students, parents, and staff is truly heartwarming. We also appreciate the convenience of the extended day program and the wide range of additional programs available after school. These offerings have been a lifeline for our family, as they allow our children to pursue their interests and passions beyond the regular school day.Furthermore, the support and communication from the school administration and teachers are exceptional. They make an effort to involve parents in their children's education and regularly update us on our children's progress. We are grateful for the wonderful experiences and opportunities SJA has provided for our children. We couldn't be happier with our choice of school, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing, academically challenging environment for their children.

Go Chargers! Blue Ribbon School with an administration, faculty and student body that well deserves this prestigious recognition. Not only a top notch educational facility for pre-k 3 - 8th grade but a wonderful/caring community of parents. Such a family-friendly vibe. So happy we are at St. Joan of Arc.

SJA is more than just a school; it's a community that functions like a closely-knit family. Our family has three children enrolled at SJA, and one consistent theme stands out: the teachers, staff, and administration genuinely care about their students. There's always someone there to provide support and encouragement, helping them to realize their full potential.Furthermore, what sets SJA apart is the extent to which teachers go beyond the classroom. Many of them attend our kids' sporting events, fostering a connection that extends far beyond academics. This commitment creates a unique sense of belonging and support for our children.SJA also offers numerous opportunities for parents to actively engage with the school and gain firsthand insight into its vibrant community. One such program is the Dad's WatchDog initiative on Wednesdays, where fathers contribute their time and effort within the school. Participating in this program gave me an eye-opening glimpse into my children's daily life at SJA and allowed me to truly appreciate everything the school offers them. After numerous experiences like this, I couldn't be prouder that my kids are Chargers. I wholeheartedly recommend SJA and its extraordinary community to anyone in the process of choosing the right school for their children. It's a decision you won't regret.

We love SJA and specifically moved to Lisle from the city so our son could enroll there. He started in PK3 and is currently in 4th grade.. Things I love about St. Joan: an exceptional before and after school care program, the small classroom sizes, a curriculum that tracks your students so the learning/teaching methods meet your student where they are at, the amazing family community and the incredible staff and teachers that don't stop being invested in your child once the school year is over. I love that to this day, our son's teachers from PK3-3rd grade are still interested in how he's doing, what he's interested in, etc. They continue to check in even though they no longer have him in their classroom and to me that means so much. St. Joan offers a hot lunch program and the kids eat in the cafeteria which my son enjoys since he gets to interact with kids outside his homeroom/grade level. They offer a variety of sport programs, after school enrichment programs, school play and so many volunteer/social opportunities for the families to get to know one another. We looked at a handful of schools when deciding where to send our son and when we toured SJA, it immediately felt like home. We don't regret our choice at all even though our property tax dollars already pay for highly-rated public schools. The out of pocket expense to send our son to SJA is worth every penny, especially when we see how happy he is to go to school and regularly tells us how much he loves SJA. St. Joan is not just a school, it is an extended family. Raising a family takes a village and we love that SJA is part of that village.

Excellent school; my child loves it here. They offer so many unique learning opportunities within the frame of traditional schooling. This year, four of the school's teachers were invited to participate in NASA's Teaching From Space MicroGravity Experience. They will travel to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas in July to participate in the Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program. The students are partnering with their teachers to research all aspects of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic School's "Gravity's Effects on Magnets" experiment. The school also has band, after-school enrichment programs, sports teams for boys and girls, art enrichment during school, drama club and more. The 8th graders put together a weekly television show which is broadcast to the student body on Friday mornings. They attend Mass weekly, reconciliation several times a year, and do a number of other things to learn about their faith (like Living Stations of the Cross). This is in addition to religion classes. It's a well-run, stable school with active, interested parents. I feel very blessed to be here!
