My daughter started high school at Templeton Academy this year. She has been very happy with her experience here. The students take two subjects each term (there are "two" terms per semester). This allows them to dive deep into two subjects, which has been helping my daughter retain information better. She is working hard and learning a lot. She also likes the "hands on" philosophy of "project based" learning. The kids have shown great confidence displaying projects they have created through their learning experiences. It's also helpful that Templeton Academy uses Nashville as a classroom, taking regular field trips around the city for learning purposes. They are learning a lot by "seeing and doing, creating" versus just "memorizing....
