The Bridges Academy

  • Bridges Academy was established in 1979 by Victoria Ives-Adamson, who herself experienced the same heartaches suffered by all learning different students.
  • Bridges Academy was founded to educate children with learning differences.
  • Bridges Academy follows the guidelines of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, but never loses sight of the individual needs of each student.
  • Bridges Academy believes that all children with learning disabilities have a right to be educated as citizens of a democratic society.
  • Our goal is to provide our students with academic, organizational study skills for success in their continued education once they leave Bridges Academy.
