Takoma Academy extends a warm invitation to any student interested in obtaining a Christian education in a Seventh-day Adventist environment.
The school's program prepares a student to live as a constructive Christian in today's secular and urban society.
Takoma Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist high school.  It is committed to the development of Christian ideals, the skills needed to achieve academic excellence, physical skills, an increased awareness of the preservation of the environment and creative imagination.
This education is offered to both Seventh-day Adventists and the general community.
Each student is expected to maintain a high level of academic and behavioral performance.
The school's low teacher to student ratio, approximately eighteen to one, set in a culturally diverse environment, offers quality education combined with personal attention and concern for the individual.
