"Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
The program at Calvary Christian School is designed to help parents fulfill this command of God.
Calvary Christian School is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church and is the extension of the Christian home.
We believe there is a Biblical perspective for every academic discipline.
We believe that true knowledge can be gained only as each discipline is taught and learned from the perspective of the principles of God's Word.

School Notes
- At Calvary Christian School, we stand committed to academic excellence! Our objective is to provide students with a solid, Christian education that upholds the highest of academic standards. Since the Bible serves as the foundation for study in all grades, students attend daily Bible classes and weekly chapel services with a special spiritual emphasis opportunities offered throughout the year.
- Calvary is a K-12 school with nearly 400 students currently enrolled. Our commitment to academic excellence throughout grades K-12 is evidenced by our strong test results. In nationally standardized testing (Stanford Achievement), students in every grade perform well above their grade level and well above the state and national averages! Additionally, our high school students have consistently scored above the national average on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
- PATRIOT PRESCHOOL (AGES 3-4) begins with K3 and K4 students learning the truths of God's Word as well as their letters, numbers, and shapes through song and play. The children have fun while learning to be kind, follow directions, be a helper, and more all in a safe and loving atmosphere. Our K3 and K4 programs meet Monday through Friday from 8:10-11:45 a.m. Students may choose to stay a full day which includes lunch, recess, and nap time.
- KINDERGARTEN (AGE 5) provides a wonderful foundation of learning for our 5-year-old students. The children are excited to learn and progress quickly. We use the BJU Press curriculum, which emphasizes phonics, word families, and service words and leads the students to have great success in reading. The curriculum lays the foundation for critical-thinking skills and teaches for understanding of the subjects. Kindergarten is a full day of school, 8:10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- ELEMENTARY DIVISION (GRADES 1 6) Our kindergarten and elementary students represent approximately two-thirds of the total student body. For these students, we teach from the BJU Press and the ABeka curriculums, which place a strong emphasis on phonics, reading comprehension, and mathematics. Students also have the opportunity to participate in regular music, Spanish, choir, library, and physical education classes as a part of their weekly curriculum.
- JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (GRADES 7-12) Calvary's high school students represent approximately one-third of total student enrollment. Our program includes a strong, college preparatory curriculum, with additional coursework available in music, speech, computer skills, and other disciplines. Physical education is a part of the daily curriculum in grades 7-9, and athletic participation is encouraged at all grade levels. Students also have the opportunity to develop leadership skills through involvement in student government, discipleship groups, and other activities.
