School Notes
- School Motto: Denver's only dual-language, Catholic school of academic excellence.
- School Mascot: Lobos
- Founded in 1999, Escuela de Guadalupe is Denver's only dual-language, Catholic school of academic excellence, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Every classroom operates on a 50/50 English-Spanish model, with students reading and writing in both languages by third grade and biliterate by fifth - a foundation that earns graduates the Seal of Biliteracy. Academically, Escuela students consistently outperform Denver Public Schools and Colorado state averages in reading and math, and 97% of 8th graders are accepted into their first-choice high schools, including Regis Jesuit, Arrupe Jesuit, and St. Mary's Academy. A 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio supports individualized attention, while weekly Mass, religion classes, and sacramental preparation ground students in Catholic faith formation and a culture of Responsibility, Respect, and Kindness. Committed to making this education accessible, Escuela awards more than $1.4 million in financial aid annually, with over 78% of families receiving assistance. For families seeking rigorous, bilingual, faith-centered education in the heart of Denver, Escuela de Guadalupe delivers proven results.

My son graduated from Escuela de Guadalupe and is now attending Regis Jesuit High School. He is doing very well at his new school and I am certain it is due to the faith foundation and high academic standards that Escuela had on him that he is able to adjust and thrive in his new path. I am certain that my second child will also be very well prepared for transitioning into High School in the near future.
