Holy Cross Academy

St. Michael's school serves children from pre-school through eighth grade. We are a community of parents, teachers, priests, and staff who care about and foster the spiritual, academic, and emotional growth of our children.
Our approach to discipline is based on respect respect for self, respect for learning, respect for each other.
Since 1895 our mission here at St. Michael's has remained the same help build the kingdom of God.
We offer solid instruction based on the traditions of our Catholic faith and we help our students through their spiritual journey by preparing them for the sacrament.
We do this by building a spiritual community that reflects Christ's love through Daily Prayer and Weekly Mass: Our students, faculty, and staff pray together daily.
Mass is celebrated weekly with students and there are a number of special all school masses and prayer services planned throughout the year.
Parents are invited to attend any of these masses. Our students have numerous opportunities to serve others by participating in programs that benefit the community: Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes, Math Marathon for Saint Judes, Mary Queen and Mother Nursing Home, Foreign Missions, Saint Vincent DePaul, Sts Peter & Paul Soup Kitchen, and many others.
